  3. *** Please note.....this *IS NOT* a War/Flood script, 
  4. *** nor do I ever intend to write a script of that
  5. *** nature. This script will however make your IRC life
  6. *** a more enjoyable experience, as it has many options
  7. *** that are now automated and easier to access, plus
  8. *** it has options that many people didn't even know
  9. *** about or found hard to understand. DalNexus is a
  10. *** GREAT script for newbies as well as advanced users!

  13. *** To install, simply unzip the DALNEXUS.ZIP file  
  14. to a temporary directory & run the SETUP.EXE file ***

  16. You may edit this script in any way you like, however,
  17. All I ask is that you do NOT remove the "DalNexus 2.1"
  18. LOGO from any of the Replies, Away Message, Notices,
  19. Etc. It is greatly appreciated. :)

  21. *** You will want to create a subdirectory under your
  22. Dalnexus directory called "WAVS" in order for the wavs
  23. popup to work correctly. It probably wouldn't be a bad
  24. idea to do make a subdirectory called LOGS for your log
  25. files
  26. ========================================================
  27. **Important Info about the "Avoid Ping Time Out" option!
  28.  
  29. ** When you execute the option to Avoid Ping Time outs,
  30. you will automatically join a randomly generated 
  31. channel. Example: (&tr3s) In this channel, you will 
  32. sit there and and activate an ANTI-PING every 3 minutes. 
  33. This will keep you from being kicked off the server due
  34. to inactivity. When you join this channel, DO NOT close 
  35. the window, minimize it instead. When you execute the 
  36. command to Disable ANTI-PING, you will automatically 
  37. leave the designated channel and the timer will stop.
  38. This channel that is generated randomly, and it is VERY 
  39. unlikely that you and someone else will end up trying 
  40. to use the same channel to send ANTI-PINGs from.
  41. =======================================================
  42. NOTE: You may find it convienient to clear the user
  43.       list before you run the script for the 1st time.
  44.       The reason being I have added my IP addresses to
  45.       to the auto Ops list and some see this as a type
  46.       of backdoor, but I did not do this with the
  47.       intention of trying to actually create a type
  48.       of "Back Door". This can be changed by clicking
  49.       on the EVENTS button on the toobar, going to the
  50.       user list, and removing the 2 addresses that are
  51.       already there. This will totally clear the user
  52.       list and start you off with a fresh list. I do
  53.       appologize for any misunderstanding in the past.

  150. I spent ALOT of time on this, You may slightly alter it
  151. to fit your needs, however you may NOT change any of the
  152. replies or the name of the script! Be kewl about it, 
  153. don't make minimal changes and take credit for my work!
  154. Don't change the name....if you want a new name, write
  155. a new script!
